i have a friend that just moved out to california to go to an atelier and he's around the same age as us so you're definitely not too old (who's too old for school these days, really?).

but the money, oh the money.

Well, here's the bottom line..

Do you want to do that? Yes? No?

If yes, then do it! I'm sure you or anyone else could easily make a list of why you "shouldn't" ever do something, but if you really want to do it, then do it, and worry about the excuses and the can'ts later.

:)

If you want to, then yes, you can! Anyone can do anything they want to do, it just depends on how much work a person is willing to put into it. Obviously life has setbacks. Of course there's so many reasons "not" to do something, but.. there's also so many reasons TO do something!

Okay, so cost is probably an issue. But don't get me started on that. If I was worring TODAY about what my college costs are going to total, when I'm done.. well then I probably wouldn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. But, I'm not going to just graduate and then give up everything I worked for and work at Burger King or something. course not. I'm not saying it will be EASY to obtain a job that I like, but.. it will take work. I know this. I have accepted it.. the bills will be worried over later.

If you want this .. REALLY want it, then you can do it!

Tristan, you have improved SO much since the time I've known you, and it's very clear that you were meant to be an artist, so anything you choose to do to further refine your skills, is only going to help you in the long run. Not to mention, I'm sure those instructors could offer a lot of insight on the nitty gritty of it all.

Just my thoughts. :)

the word pretty much just means artist studio. I walked by a fashion boutique the other day that had atelier in the title so you're not out of line in your thinking.
